holy grail skin care product #2

I never really believed in a product that can transform your skin until I found this one. This products completely stopped my skin from getting that red flushed look. It's also amazing because it's super cheap from the drugstore, so what is it?
It's the Neutrogina ultra sheer dry touch sunblock! I apply this twice a day and this completely stopped my face from flushing throughout the day! I tried this as a very last resort, as I was tired of tossing money left and right to cure my redness! For anyone out there who suffered from facial redness like me, then I definately recommend trying any sunscreen out!

Favorite of the day

A good perfume is a necessity for any girl, and with so many on the market it can be quite hard to really pick a favorite. I love trying new ones out! Recently, I purchases the Pink Sugar Perfume and I absolutely love it!!
I found it at my local ulta for $30 (there's two sizes, the other one is $45) and I put it on right away and I immediately knew that this was my perfume by far! It smells like vanilla Cotten candy, and it's absolutely amazing! I recommend this to ANYONE, and I defiantly recommend you try it out!

Holy Grail skin care products

The skin care world is very confusing because there's so many products to choose from, but so little actually work. Recently, I've been buying a lot of skin care products, and I found two that I've absolutely love and have transform my skin, so I decided to do a post on them! The one I'll be talking about today is the Mario Bedescu Aloe Vera Toner! I just got this a few days ago, and I'm already head over heels in love with it!
I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I suffer from facial redness. It's gets really bad where it turns into a burnt fusha color. Although this isn't the product that solved this issue (that is my next HG skin care post), this dramatically reduced my redness instantly! It's also fairly cheap for a high end product ($17)! It's a liquid, as a toner should be, and I just apply it onto a Cotten round and gentle massage it into my face! The thing that really had me sold on this product was the immediate results! Within a minute of applying this, all my redness (well, I still had a little left) was gone and I was left with soft, glowing skin! This is an AMAZING MIRICALE product and I recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin or had redness!

Josie Maran Argon Oil Review

I saw a tiny sample of this in the checkout line at sephora and I immediately picked it up to try it, and I ended up loving it. I always ment to pick up the full size of this, but I never could manage to swallow the price tag, so I stuck with the small sample bottles. Four travel size bottles later (which last a long time), and I finally decided to pick up the full size. I love oils so much for my skin, and this is definitely one of my favorites, so I decided to share my love of this oil for you! So here it goes!

WHERE TO BUY:

You can get this at sephora! It is $46 for the full size and $14 for the travel size!

PACKAGING:

It comes in a glass container with a dropper top. It's easy to get out, the only downside is it's made of glass, so it would be disasterous if it fell!!

THE PRODUCT:

To apply, you just take 3-4 drops (a little goes a long way) and you just pay it in! Unlike a traditional cream moisturizer, you don't need to rub it to get it to sink in which is nice! Argon is oil is really nice because it has repairing properties and it really moisturizes your skin! Not to mention, it's all natural! It is quite thick, but it sinks in really nicely! This isn't one to be worn under makeup, because your makeup will just slide right off so if you wear makeup, just use it at night!

THE VERDICT:

All in all, I recommend this to every skin type whether your dry, normal, sensitive (my skin type), or even oily!!! Most people with oily skin would be frightened to use a oil on their skin, but applying oil to your skin tricks it into thinking it already produced oil so it won't produce as much! If your still scared of using it, josie maran has a light version of this, so you could use it as a stepping stone!

I really hoped this helped! Let me know if you end up trying it and what you think!

How to be pretty without makeup

Whether you wake up late, or you are going swimming, this is my guide on how  you can ditch the makeup and still look pretty!

LONG TERM FIXES:

1- drink lots of water

Water really helps your skin hydrate a rejuvenate itself giving it a healthy glow! Water will also help prevent break outs!

2- eat a healthy

Ever heard the saying 'you are what you eat'? Well it's true! What comes in must come out, and of course we know the obvious way of it coming out, but what you eat also comes out your skin! What? So those who are on diets of high processed carb and calorie foods may tend to have more skin issues than those who don't! And even if you can get away with it, it's just not good for you, so make sure you eat healthy!

3- maintain a good skin care routine

I'm not gonna go into great depth on what your skin care steps your routine should include (I'll have a post coming with that soon), but I will say that everyone should cleanse, tone, and moisturize! Skin care is really important because it helps your skin and you can costumize it to fit each of your individual needs!

4- exsersize

Although it can be a hassle to excersize, it's still important that you still do this step! When you excersize, you sweat which releases toxins which would have otherwise build up in your skin and cause other skin issues!

QUICK FIXES

1- curl your lashes

Most girls can't go without makeup because mascara is 'so important', but curling your lashes offers a quick alternative fix to open your eyes!

2- apply vasaline to your lashes & brows

This helps darken your lashes and brows makeing them to help appear fuller and sparked. It will also help frame your face!

3- exfoliate your lips and apply lip balm

Lips really help make your face appear more colorful so by exfoliating and applying a lip balm it with make your lips appear more rosy and fuller!

4- confidence

The prettiest girl, is the most confident girl!

Hoped this helped!!

COMPARISON: clarisonic vs. Olay contouring brush system

Ever since I got into skin care, I wanted a clarisonic, but due to its pricey price tag I was never able to afford it until recently. Before the clarisonic, I liked to use the Olay fresh effects contouring system and so I'd like to get this review out so I can help save anyone a few bucks. I will say, I do like both of these face brushes and it really comes down to what kind of skin type you have!

OLAY FRESH EFFECTS CONTOURING SYSTEM:

So I first purchased this back in august and I used it for about 3 months straight, so I am able to really testify for this. I switched between using is every morning and night, but without fail I always used it at least once a day. So this tool is really nice because of its convenience! The brush head is shaped as a triangle so you can really get into the contours of your face, which is really nice! The bristles are a soft rubbery texture (soft enough for my sensitive skin) which really helps lather up your skin. It really gets the job done and makes your face feel squeaky clean!

CLARISONIC:

The clarisonic is a little bigger and is about the size of a face wash(?). The brush head is a little bigger and can't fit into the corners of your face, but of you take the brush off and push the center of the brush a smaller brush comes out that can really fit into the corners of your face. To use this, you just put your cleanser on the brush and press the button and the clarisonoc pulses for a minute. After a minute, it turns off by itself. This really makes your face feel clean and fresh and really lets your next products sink in. Also, the clarisonic allows you to change your brush head and you can pick your brush head depending on your skin type.

OVERALL:

I feel that the clarisonic is the better option, but the Olay brush is better than nothing. If you have nice skin that doesn't need a lot of maintaining, then I'd just stick with the Olay brush to save money. The olay brush is more convenient, but the clarisonic had a lot more tools and settings to really costumize it to get it to match your skin. I'd definately recommend both, but the clarisonic wins by far!
